Younger Islanders

"You - the under 16's are the island's future. Soon the voting age may well be reduced to age sixteen and young people need to be preparing for this responsibility.

I am  aware of the frustrations of living in a small island, and feel that there are insufficient things for a younger person  to do and I want to put that right.  I would like to see more open spaces in St. Helier, more leisure facilities - not just sporting ones but "fun" ones such as a skate park, a permanent ice skating rink and the return of such things as the Roller Disco at Fort Regent.  

There are many positive things that the younger members people and there should be more publicity about this sort of thing!

I fully intend to encourage alternatives that you will like  and are aimed at young people specifically.   I want to hear your views.  Please email me to let me know what you want to see happen to your Parish.  Sensible emails only please!    alvin@alvinaaron.com "
